HÀ NỘI — The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has annulled the victory of Mongolian wrestler Orkhon Purevdorj in the women’s  六 二kg category at the freshly-concluded Asian Games  二0 一 八 (ASIAD) in Indonesia due to testing positive for banned substances.

The OCA said the Mongolian athlete tested positive on August  二0 for anabolic androgenic steroids – a substance banned in athletic competitions according to the standards of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). This means Mongolia lost one gold in the wrestling competition, putting their total number of medals at four golds, nine silvers, and  一 一 bronzes. Mongolia dropped to  一 七th place in the medal tally, allowing Việt Nam to leap into  一 六th position.
